The
sound produced by Shadow speakers has been described as revealing, tight, and
wide. What do these descriptions mean? Read on...
Revealing
Shadow speakers do an excellent job of bringing out tiny details in music. When
you listen to your favourite songs on mass produced speakers they tend to mask
the more complex sounds. Shadow speakers do not mask anything when they
reproduce sounds. The titanium tweeters bring out the most complex sounds and
patterns usually masked by lesser speakers. This isn't to say that they are
bright or harsh but they will let you hear the music as it was meant to be heard.

Tight
One of the nicest characteristics of the Shadow speakers is their lack of
sloppy bass. Because the Shadows use smaller 5 1/4" woofer drivers they are
significantly less prone to distortion suffered by larger woofer cones. The
light and rigid polypropylene woofer cones do a great job of reproducing
upper mid-bass, mid-bass, and lower mid-bass. Because of their size they
won't shake the room or rattle your teeth but that was never their
intention. As it is, the Shadow speakers do an amazing job of reproducing
all but the lowest bass while really filling out blues, jazz, classical, and
classic rock as well as various other genres.
Wide
By using thin, deep cabinets the Shadow speakers are able to produce amazing
soundstages. This means they are able to reproduce stereo sounds with very
good point source imaging, something many mass produced speakers are simply
unable to accomplish. What a wide soundstage provides you is the ability to
pin-point the 3d location of instruments. For example, when you hear the
trumpet it can sound as if it's slightly to the right of centre and farther
back while the guitar may sound like it's coming from the far left.

No matter what your taste in music, Shadow speakers will definitely bring
you closer to your music.
